About Elizabeth
@LeBleueRoom
Elizabeth Freeman is a Portland-based painter with a BFA in Drawing and Painting from Oregon College of Art and Craft.
Her work blends realism with abstraction, layering soft washes of watercolor, expressive textures, and delicate line-work to create pieces that feel dreamlike. She works primarily with mixed media on Yupo paper. Whether monochrome or full of color, each portrait captures the vulnerable self to bring back the mood, memories, and a moment of suspended time.
Freeman has been painting professionally since 2011, creating emotionally resonant portraits that explore individuality and the quiet complexities of the inner world. Her work has been exhibited in galleries throughout Portland and is held in several private collections.
